MILES BENSON DEATH VICTIM
Miles Edgar Benson, member of a well known San Bernardino pioneer family, died late yesterday at Ramona Community hospital. He was 80 year old and a native of San Bernardino, the son of Alfred Benjamin and Hattie Elizabeth Benson.
Mr. Benson resided at the old family home, 937 E street, and followed the mining industry until several years ago, when he retired. He was a member of Arrowhead parlor, Native Sons of the Golden West, and was active in the organization until his health failed.
Mrs. Benson died in 1929. The couple had no children and Mr. Benson is survived by 11 nieces and eight nephews, all of whom reside in California with the exception of one, who lives in Arizona.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Stephens & Bobbitt in charge.
