E.E. Nicholas of Near Felton Dies
Emery Edgar Nicholas, 63, farmer living five miles south of Felton, Minn., in Flowing Township, Clay county, died about 1:30 p. m. Sunday of a heart ailment in his home.
Born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, Aug. 5, 1882, he married Laura Huggins in Detroit Lakes, Minn., in 1911. Besides Mrs. Nicholas, he leaves three brothers, Alfred D., 131 Second Av S., Moorhead, Irvin, Sumner, Wash., and W. W. Nicholas, Felton, also three sisters, Mrs. James Upwood, Menagha, Minn., and Mrs. Addie Roberts and Mrs. Cal Boster, both of Rolfe, Iowa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday in the A. J. Wright and Sons funeral home. Rev. Donald Mackay officiating. Burial will be in Felton. The body will lie in the Wright funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening.
