Belle Lytle was the daughter of Lucinda "Lucy" Curbow Lytle and the sister of WH Lytle who died in the 1953 Waco Tornado. She never married but worked for the Katy RR as her father had done and lived all of her live in Waco, with the exception of the last 6 months of her life that she spent in the Katy Employees Hospital in Denison, Tx.Belle Sarah Lytle was the only daugther of William Henry Lytle and Lucinda "Lucy" Curbow Lytle. She was the sister of William Henry Lytle. She was the granddaughter of Tilman Curbow and Elizabeth Box. Belle never married. Belle lived her entire life in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, with the exception of the last six months of her life, which she spent in Denison, Texas where she was a patient at the Katy Employees Hospital. She first worked as a telephone operator and later as a stenographer/Clerk for M.K. & T Railroad.

WACO TIME HERALD, PAGE 17, MONDAY, MAY 6, 1963: Lytle, Miss Belle - Miss Belle Lytle of 1900 Webster Avenue died at 9:00 a.m., Sunday in a Denison hospital. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Wilkerson and Hatch Chapel . Chaplain Charles D. Harris and Rev. Urban Schultze officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery. She has no survivors. Wilkerson and Hatch Funeral Home, 1124 Washington Ave.
