Dtr of TP Curbow, wife of WH Lytle and mother of Belle Sarah and WH Lytle.Lucinda Curbow was the oldest daughter of Tilman P. Curbow and Elizabeth Box Curbow. She was the granddaughter of William Bolton Box. Lucinda was born in Georgia and spent a good part of her childhood living in Itawamba County, Mississippi. By early 1864, the family is in Texas. On August 20, 1878 Lucinda married William Henry Lytle, a Confederate Civil War veteran, in McLennan County, Texas. She lived all of her adult life in Waco, Texas. Lucinda was the mother of Belle Sarah Lytle and William Henry Lytle. She is laid to rest in the Lytle family plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Waco, McLennan County, Texas.

OBITUARY/DEATH NOTICE: PUBLISHED ON MONDAY, JULY 16, 1923 IN THE WACO TIMES HERALD:
DEATH EARLY MONDAY OF MRS. LUCY LYTLE, WHO LIVED HERE 45 YRS. Mrs. Lucy Lytle, aged 80, died Monday morning at 5:30 at her home, 821 Clay Street. She had been in ill health for some time. The funeral will take place Monday afternoon at 5:30 from the family residence, with Dr. C. H. Booth officiating, interment to be made at Greenwood. Born in Georgia, Mrs. Lytle had been a resident of Waco for about 45 years. In this city she was known to and beloved by many friends and acquaintences. Surviving Mrs. Lytle are two children, Miss Belle Lytle and W. H. Lytle, both of this city. She also has two sisters, Mrs. R. A. Story of Axtell and Mrs. E. H. Pressley of San Antonio.
