Mr. Chauncey Wixom accidentally shot himself on last Sunday morning, while on the mountains near Talmage’s mill. He was standing on a wagon tongue, loading one barrel of his shotgun when the other barrel was accidentally discharged, the shot entering the left leg above the knee, lodging near the groin. While the wound is very painful, it is not considered dangerous.
