Mr. Amos was a retired farmer and a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gracie (Dodson) Amos; son, Michael Amos; daughter-in-law, Lynn of GA; two grand- children; four great-grandchildren; brother, Lee Amos of Sandy Ridge, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson and Lottie Joyce Amos; sisters, Etta Mae Wood & Artie Mabe, and a brother, Noel Amos.
Graveside service conducted on Monday, September 12th, 2005.
