On November 27, 2013, Gracie Dodson Amos was called by her Lord to her eternal home.
A celebration of her life will be held at Sandy Ridge Methodist Church, in Sandy Ridge, N.C.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery where she will join her beloved late husband.
Mrs. Amos had resided in Peachtree City, Georgia, since 2006, following the passing of her husband.
Mrs. Amos was born March 15, 1921, in Stokes County, N.C., one of eight children, to the late Eli Hugh Dodson and Eva Mae Dodson.
She was married to Lowell E. Amos for 66 years prior to his passing in 2005.
She was a retired employee of the DuPont Company and a member of the Sandy Ridge Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Edgar Dodson, Grover Dodson, and Curtis Dodson and sisters Mary Belle Joyce, Ora Lee Morton, Lillie Mae Morton, and Odell Peay.
