Mrs Margaret Muldoon, Niantic, died at the famiily home at 2:10pm yesterday from a stroke which she suffered Sunday. She is the widow of the late James M Muldoon, former Macon county supervisor, who died in 1935.

Mrs Muldoon was born near Maroa Dec 19, 1860, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs James Delaney. As a child she moved to Niantic where she resided the rest of her life except for two years after her marriage when she lived in Decatur.

In 1892 she married James M Muldoon in Illiopolis. She was one of the originial members of St Anne's Catholic church, Niantic, and a member of the altar society.

Mrs Muldoon leaves one nephew, Bernard Delaney, whom she raised; one sister, Mrs Anna Hagen, Niantic and six brothers, PW Delaney, ML Delaney, and Jerry Delaney, all of Decatur; Thomas E Delaney, East St Louis; John S Delaney, Niantic, and Lawrence Delaney, Clinton.

The body was removed to the Moran and Sons funeral home and returned to the family home in Niantic. Friends may call there after 7pm today. Funeral arrangements will not be completed until Bernard Delaney arrives from Chambersburg, Pa.
