East Liverpool, Ohio - a former West Virginia man died in an auto accident here Wednesday. Jay Adkins, 42, of East Liverpool, formerly of Lincoln County, W.Va, was employed by Crucible Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow, Pauline; three brothers, Arbie, Tony and Ruel Adkins of East Liverpool. Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Koontz Funeral Home at Hamlin, W.Va. Burial will be in Adkins Cemetery at Hager, W.Va. The body will arrive at the funeral home Friday.
