Lucile was the daughter of Edward Alton Garfield and Mary Louise Antoine.

In 1936, Lucile married Henry Gustav Robert Anderson. Henry was the son of Swedish immigrants, August Robert Anderson and Hedvig Olivia Eden. He was born on December 18, 1910 in North Easton, MA.

On May 27, 1937, Henry and Lucile had their first child, Frederic Robert Anderson. He was born in Brockton, MA. At the time, they were living at 1025

In 1938, Henry and Lucile bought 215 Copeland St. Brockton, MA.

On April 9, 1939, they had their second child, David Warren Anderson. He was born in Brockton, MA on Easter Sunday.

On May 26, 1943, Lucile went into labor prematurely. She was rushed to the hospital's house while Henry used his bike to take Fred and David to their aunt Elin's house. Elin was Henry's sister. They went there and back for a few days until Lucile came home.

Around 1945, Henry and Lucile took Fred and David on a trip around the country. They camped out all but one night during the trip. Fred and David missed the last and first two weeks of school.

In 1953, Lucile had stomach cancer. She wentr in for surgery but when they opened her stomach, the cancer was everywhere. They realized they couldn't do anything and closed her stomach. They put her on medication but it didn't work. She soon passed way.
