Funeral services for Mrs. Winnifred Schwartz, 77, of 413 W. 12th St, who died Sunday at 11:20pm at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of a cerebral vascular accident, will be at 1:30pm Thursday ay O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home. The Rev James Fouke, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Midwest Garden of Memories.
She was born Winnifred Losey, daughter of Robert and Frances Losey, Aug. 17, 1890, at Preston, Minn., and was married there to Frank Schwartz on Nov. 18, 1910.
Mrs. Schwartz came to Waterloo in 1957. She was a member of Eagles Lodge, Royal Neighbors of America and Circle 1 of St. Paul's Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth Shaw of 438 Riehl St., Mrs. Claude Parker of Rochester, Minn., Mrs. Emil Scolari of Lompoc, Calif., and Mrs. Henry Morgan of Fort Dodge.
Also surviving are seven sons, Ernie of Victor, Mon., Robert G. of 402 Conger St., Arthur of 1200 Washington St., Eugene of KAnsas City, Kan., Vernon in the U.S. Navy at Charleston Heights, S.C., Frank Jr., of 1609 Parker St., Cedar Falls, and Richard of New Hartford.
Other survivors are 31 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, one great-grandchild, four sisters and six brothers.
