Joseph P. Losey PRESTON, Minn (Special) -- Joseph P. Losey, 90, died Wednesday morning at Lillejord Nursing Home, Lanesboro, after an illness of several months. He was born March 17, 1872 in New York state, son of Robert and Fanny Plonty Losey. As a child, he came with his parents to Preston and spent the rest of his life in this area. He was a farmer and trucker. In 1905 he married Margaret Malia. Survivors are: One brother, John E., Preston; one sister, Mrs. Frank Schwartz, Waterloo, Iowa; one granddaughter, Mrs. Glen Leqve, Rochester; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. James Losey, Rochester, and two great-grandchildren. His wife died in 1936. One son, James, four brothers and four sisters have died. The funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Columban Catholic Church, the Rev. F. J. Schimek officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, near Wykoff. Friends may call at Thauwald Funeral Home this afternoon and evening and Friday morning. The Rosary will be said at 8.
