Mrs. Latimer died Wednesday afternoon of an apparent heart attack. She was born in Washita County and moved with her parents (James Wm. and Mattie Lee {Keeton} Rigney) to Florida at the age of 15.
She was married to Kirk Latimer in Orange Center, FL on Mar. 5, 1916 and they moved to Oklahoma, settling in Washita County. They had lived on the farm at Latimer Corner since 1921. She was a member of the church of Christ. Interment was in the Page Cemetery south of Foss.
Survivors include two daughters, Wenona Dunn and her husband, Walter, and Laurel McNatt and her husband, J. R., both of rural Foss, OK, and one son, R. C. Latimer and his wife, Rita, of Washington, OK; two brothers, Elza Rigney, of Groveland, FL and Harry Rigney, of Clermont, Fl, one sister, Essie Butler and her husband, Sam, of Clermont, FL, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister, two sisters-in-law and one great-grandson.
