Freeman A. Park, 94, formerly of Saltillo, died March 16, 2004, at the Morrison Cove home in Martinsburg.

Born March 13, 1910, in Mapleton, he was the son of the late Bland and Annie J. (Stake) Park. He was united in marriage to Pauline Crum May 21, 1932, in Three Springs. Mrs. Park preceded him in death Feb. 21, 1975.

He is survived by three daughters: Janice Lorraine Lippy of Rone, N.Y.; Suzanne Whitsel, Hollidaysburg; and Donna Grove, Mount Joy; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Shore; three brothers and four sisters; and a close friend, Ethel Parks.

Mr. Park attended Fairview Evangelical Church, Three Springs, and was a trustee of the Cornelius Chapel Cemetery Association. For over 40 years, he was a self-employed truck driver hauling lumber and railroad ties from lumber yards. Mr. Park enjoyed working in his wood shop where he made assorted crafts.

Funeral services will be held March 20, at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home in Cassville, with Pastor William Hughes and Pastor Mark Whitsel officiating. Interment will be made in Cornelius Chapel Cemetery, Mapleton Depot, PA
