Mrs. Fred A. Trone, Former Resident Of Jefferson, Succumbs

Jefferson – Mrs. Mary P. Trone, 66, wife of Fred A. Trone, 1401 Second Street, Juniata, and formerly of this place, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at McCoy-Jackson Hospital, Folkston, Ga., while on a vacation trip to Florida.
She and her husband were partners in the Park Furniture Store, Juniata.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Crouse, 1409 Continental Road, York; Mrs. Marcia Rishel, Bellefonte, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Fluke, Fairfield, Pa.; a son, Capt. Frederick W. Trone, Washington, D.C.; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Freeman Park, Saltillo, Pa.; and two sisters, Mrs. Sara Crotsley, Mapleton Depot, Pa., and Garnetta Park, Tucson, Ariz.
She was a member of First Methodist Church, Juniata; White Shrine; Eastern Star; Salvation Army and YWCA.
Rev. Paul J. Taylor, her pastor, will officiate at funeral services Saturday at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Cornelius Cemetery, Saltillo.
