MRS. CRUSSEL PASSES AWAY
Lifelong Resident of County Dies Near Newbern-Funeral Saturday

Mrs. Sarah Frances Crussel, 85, widow of Nicholas Crussel, died at 12:10 o'clock this morning at the family home near Newbern, following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home conducted by the Rev. L.D. Youngblood. Burial will be made in Garland Brook Cemetery. The casket will be open at the home this evening and Saturday until the hour of the services.

Mrs. Crussel was born and spent her entire life in the county. She had lived in the Newbern community for 50 years and was well known. She was a member of the United Brethren Church. Mr. Crussel died two years ago last April.

Surviving are a son Edward; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Holland, Mrs. Homer McClintic and Miss Bertha Crussel, all of this county; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a brother, Jake Yeley of this city.
