JACOB YELEY PASSES AWAY
Lifelong Resident Dies After Long Illness-Funeral Monday
Jacob Yeley, 75, carpenter, died at 7:15 o'clock Friday night at the family home, 918 Union Street, following five months' illness of a complication of diseases.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. T.K. Smith of the Tabernacle Christian Church. Burial will be made in Garland Brook Cemetery. The casket is at the Hege and Flanigan funeral home, but will be moved this evening to the family home where it will be open.
Mr. Yeley spent all his life in Columbus and was well known. He was a member of the Carpenters' Union.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Edgar; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Yeley, at home, and Mrs. Iva Phelps of Indianapolis.
