Dransfeldt Funeral Set Here Thursday – Mrs. Fred Dransfeldt, 64, resident of Algona for about 2 years died Saturday at St. Ann's Hospital where she had been a patient for about ten days.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dransfeldt will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30pm in the Methodist Church here, with the Rev N.M. Coughenour officiating. Burial will follow at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens and McCullough Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Vern Teeter, Milferd Mitchell, Roy Jansan, Harlan Blanchard, Eldin Marlow and Clarence Christenson.
Born in Orange County, Indiana, Lydia Jane Hill was the daughter of Henry and Lizzie Belle Cox. She and her husband farmed in this area before moving to Algona. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Jensen, Dale Jensen and a baby daughter.
Survivors include her husband, a sister, Mrs. Sarah Wise; and a brother, Mr. Everett Hill, Wesley.
