Virgia L. Hargrove, 95, of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009, at the Valley View Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Arnold D. Hargrove, and a son, Morris Wade.

She attended the Harvest Baptist Church. Harvest Baptist is the church which the late Rev. Arnold D. Hargrove preached for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie Ruth Johnson and husband Leroy of Leighton; son, Doyal R. Hargrove and wife Pat of Harvest; very special daughter-in-law, Gail Hargrove White; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one step-great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Madison Chapel Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.
