Obituary:
"Services for Mrs. C.H. Oliver will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Chrysostom's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Hamel officiating. Mrs. Olvier died May 20, 1963 after being hospitalized since July 2, 1955. She was 85 years of age. Pallbearers will be Maurice Gorman, Ambrose Hurley, Leonard Devitt, Wayne Mitchell, Bert Souvignier and Lewis Opland. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Julia was born April 1, 1878 to George and Mary Ferguson in Illinois. She came to this community as a child and was married to C. H. Oliver on October 2, 1901. With the exception of 7 years in North Dakota they lived in Lincoln County. Mrs. Oliver was a member of St. Chrysostom's Parish and Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant child, her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. Mrs. Oliver is survived by two sons, Merton and Bruce of Canton, two daughters, Mrs. Irvin (Lucille)Suhreptz of Doon, IA, and Mrs. A.E. (Bernice) Bihler of Sylmar, CA, two sisters, Mary Ferguson of Osage, IA and Mrs. G.A. (Margaret) Buehler of Deadwood; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren."
