Funeral rites were held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart church in Osage for Mrs. Elizabeth Stock who died Thursday, March 12, 1953, at home. The Rosary was recited Sunday at the Stock home. She was born to George and Mary Ferguson in Ohio and later Moved to Illinois with her family. After coming to Michell county she married E. R. Stock, with the couple making their first home in Manly. They moved to Osage shortly after World War 1. Mrs. Stock is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Judd Bailey and Mary Ferguson, both of Osage, Mrs. Gustav Buehler of Deadwood, S.D., and Mrs. C. H. Oliver of Canton, S.D. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers, John, Edward, Terrance, and Nicholas.
The 1910 census indicates they had a 12 year old adopted son, Lewis, nothing more is known of him.
