On Friday, November 3, 2023 Inez Finley Kirkpatrick went to be with the Lord at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills with her loving family by her side.
A native of McDowell County, she was born on April 13, 1935, to the late Robert Finley and Hessie Hollifield Finley.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Carroll Kirkpatrick; and her siblings, Albert Finley, Paul Finley, Earl Finley, Sewell Finley, Roy Finley, Edna Condrey, Irene Davis, and Edith Elliott.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Clinchfield Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Roach officiating. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Flowers are accepted and appreciated; however, those wishing to make memorial donations are asked to consider Clinchfield Baptist Church for the Building Fund or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
