She was born in Wood County, daughter of the late Andy and Melissa Phillips Gates.
She is survived by her husband, Cleland D. Jobes; a brother, Clarence Griffith of Gulfport, Miss.; and four sisters, Geneva Phillips of Parkersburg; Julia Ramsey of Ripley and Goldie Dye of Belpre.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, with entombment in the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
