Nick Dan Bloise, 96, of Neshannock Township passed away on February 14, 2021 in Marco Island, FL at the home of his daughter.

Nick was born on February 6, 1925 to the late Antonio and Rosa Ippolito Bloise.

On August 3, 1949 Nick married his beloved wife, the former Irene Stofcik. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2011.

Nick had worked for Mooney Brothers in New Castle, Pa., after his discharge from the service until his retirement. For many years Nick was a volunteer firefighter with the Neshannock Township Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Teamsters.

Nick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He saw combat in Europe during WWII as a Sargent with the 163rd Army Corp of Engineers.

Nick enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews, horse racing, fishing, traveling with his family and gardening. He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Saint Camillus Site.

Nick is survived by his daughters, his brother, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, and wife, Nick was preceded in death by five brothers, James, John, Joe, Sam and Andy Bloise and one sister, Mary Viggiano.

A private service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Deacon John Carran will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
