Bertha Irene Brock was born on June 3, 1891, to George Alvin Brock and Margaret Lenora Herod Brock. She was the eldest of eleven children, and married Hurban Harrison Haney on December 18, 1910, in Berwyn (now Gene Autry), OK. The two had six children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six siblings, and two children. She was survived by four of her children and five siblings.
