Funeral services for Vera Mae Pugh, 83, of Yantis were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in West Oaks Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Bedingfield officiating.

Burial followed in Yantis Cemetery with Cody Baker, Casey Jones, Michael Mathews, Boyd Westman, Adrian Dorries, Alex Pruitt, Jeral Allen Johnson and David Langford serving as pallbearers.

Vera Mae Pugh died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at The Manor in Seagoville.

She was born on Nov. 27, 1921, in the Peerless community to Lonnie Alvin and Daisy May Fouse Kincaid.

She was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include one son, Randy Giles of Dallas; four daughters, Brenda Wyatt of Yantis, Jackie Mullican of Balch Springs, Mary Dorries of Crandall and Kim Patton of Dallas; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bazil, Odell, Kenneth and Wendell Kincaid, all of Yantis; and two sisters, Mildred Nichols and Leona Kenny, both of Yantis.

She was preceded in death by four daughters, Jean Parker, Anna Langford, Louise Mixon and Loveta Johnson; two sisters, Dorothy Holder and Gladys Mills; one granddaughter, Jennifer Tucker; and one great-granddaughter, Anglic Rose.
