Funeral services for Gladys R. Mills, 76, of Yantis will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Yantis First Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Bedingfield and Shannon Hassell officiating.
Interment will be in Yantis Cemetery with Ronnie Mills, Ronnie Housewright, Shannon Davis, Trey Norris, Ed McKiddy and Bob Thomas serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday July 7, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mills died at 8:28 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at East Texas Medical Center in Quitman.
She was born in Peerless community of Hopkins County on July 30 1926 to Lonnie Alvin and Daisy Mae Fouse Kincaid. She married Troy L. Mills on December 11, 1959, in Forney. He survives.
Mrs. Mills was a retired press operator with Vent-A-Hood Inc. in Richardson for over 24 years. She was a housemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include one son, Troy Paul Miller and wife, Sue of Yantis, two granddaughters, Tina Davis, and husband Shannon and Tonya Norris and husband Trey, all of Yantis; three great-grandchildren, Taelor Rawson, Taryn Davis and Trenton Norris, all of Yantis; four brothers Bazil Kincaid, Thomas Odell and wife Veneda Kincaid, Kenneth and wife Susan Kincaid, and Wendell and wife Sandy Kincaid all of Yantis; and three sisters, Vera Pugh of Seagoville, Mildred Nichols of Yantis and Pat Kenney of Irving.
Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy Holder.
