Dorothy Holder

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Holder, 54, 2712 Crystal, Mesquite, died at the family home at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

She was born Mar. 2, 1924 at Peerless, daughter of Lonnie and Daisy Mae Fouse Kincaid.

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

She was married to Melvin Lonzo Holder Mar. 16, 1946.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Cason and Mrs. Dollie Box, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Kathy Bedingfield of Grand Saline; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Kincaid of Yantis; four sisters, Mrs. Vera Mae Pugh of Mesquite, Mrs. Gladys Mills and Mrs. Mildred Nichols, both of Yantis, and Mrs. Lenora Kinney of Irving; four brothers, Bazil Kincaid of Fate, Odell Kincaid of Palmer, Kenneth Kincaid of Mesquite, and Wendell Kincaid of Elkhart; and six grandchildren.

Final rites were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home, with the Rev. L. B. Harris officiating. Burial was in the Posey Cemetery with Red Ferrell, Marvin Evans, Weldon Glossup, L.P. Arnold, Tony Cason and Gene Dixon served as pallbearers.
