George Alvin Brock was born to William Henry and Mary Elizabeth Collyer Brock on May 10, 1866. In 1890 (TX), he married Margaret Lenora Herod. The couple had eleven children.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a son, Warren Leon Brock.`

Brock was survived by ten of his eleven children as well as his wife.
