Anna was the daughter of Frances and Anna Keller Barneycastle. Her siblings Ephraim, Emma, and Tempy, & Molly Clodfelter are buried here, as is nephew Robert Cassel. The family used Barneycastle and Barneycassel, but after the Civil War they often shortened it to Cassel and Castle. This has caused much confusion. Anna nver married, and was active in the Union Ridge Methodist Church. Anna shared a gravestone with Lizzie.
