Elizabeth, or Lizzie, was the daughter of Francis & Anna Keller Barneycastle. She took catechism for the Moravian church, but attended Union Ridge Methodist Church and was actively involved in it's various organizations. The original name of this family was Barneycastle, and over the years it was spelled about 50 different versions. After the Civil War most dropped the Barney and kept either Castle or Cassel. Lizzie's siblings are buried here under B Castle etc. Lizzie shares a tombstone with Anna.
