Ruth C. Kiehl, 90, a resident of Whitehall-Leader Nursing and Convalescent Center for the past three years, died at 6:50 p.m. Sunday in Lancaster General Hospital. The wife of George D. Kiehl Sr., she formerly resided at 138 N. Pine St. Mrs. Kiehl was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church and the auxiliary of American Legion Post 34. She was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William H. and Anna Rodeman Nixdorf. Surviving are two sons, George D. Kiehl Jr., East Petersburg, and Edwin Heistand, New Danville; a daughter, Dorothy Scott, Croydon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and a sister, Emma Elsen, Lancaster.
