Marion Stone Pelley
Private memorial services will be conducted for Marion Stone Pelley, 86, who died Saturday night at Riverview Hospital.
A Noblesville resident for the past six years, she was born Sept. 28, 1886 in Erving, Mass., the daughter of Fremont and Harriet Waste Stone. The deceased was employed at the World Telegram and Sun until she retired 14 years ago. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Orlando, Fla., and the first wife of William Dudley Pelley, now deceased, of this city.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Melford Pearson of Noblesville, a son, William E. Pelley of Ridgewood, N.J., and six grandchildren. A step-sister, Mrs. Sarah Phillipps of Greenfield, Mass., also survives.
The Evans-Godby-Trout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The body has been given to medical science.
