FORMER RESIDENT'S SERVICES SLATED

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. in the Vernal Mortuary for Nellie Marie Murray Reich, 72, who died January 12 at a Las Vegas hospital.

She was born June 12, 1902 to William Ashby Murray and Beatrice Maniellie Howarth Murray. She married Orin Reich in Vernal, they were divorced. She was a member of the LDS Church and a Gold Star Mother, member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.

Survivors are two daughters, Dorothy Galyean, Prescott, Arizona and Carol Branch, Las Vegas; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, seven sisters, Billy Gooding, Idaho; Chester, Murray, Mrs. Betrice Bennion, Mrs. Dee (Clara) Jenkins, Mrs. Miles (Buelah) Hall, Mrs. Harold (LaRena) Abplanalp, all of Vernal; Mrs. Elmer (Virginia) Trevene, Ridgeway, Colorado; Mrs. Karl (Winona) Olson, Sanaquin, Utah and Mrs. William (Leatha Mae) Ford, San Lorenzo, California.

Viewing will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Maeser Cemetery.

NELLIE REICH CITED AT LAST RITES

Funeral services for Nellie Reich were held in the Vernal Mortuary. Bishop Clyde Anderson conducted.

Prelude and postlude music was by Marie Paulson. Duet "In the Garden: was sung by Kay and Enola Montgomery. The first guest speaker was Arvin Harrison, followed by a solo, "The Old Rugged Cross" by Carwin Snow.

The second guest speaker was Dallas Murray. A duet, "The End of a Perfect Day" by Kay and Enola Montgomery was the concluding song. Closing remarks were by Bishop Anderson.

Benediction was offered by Lorin Richens. Dedication of the grave was by Dee Jenkins. Pallbearers were Miles Hall, Thomas Trevenen, Glenn Murray, Paul Murray, Robert Trevenen and Lindsay Oaks.

Interment was in the Maeser Cemetery, under the direction of the Thomson Vernal Mortuary.
