Bianca R Hinton, 88, Olympia, formerly of Chelan, died Tuesday, May 10, 1988, in the home of her son, Jerry Hinton, Olympia.

She was born Oct. 4, 1899, to Charles and Maria Rubin at Chelan where she was raised. She graduated from Chelan High School in 1917.

She married Edward "Eddie" Hinton in July 1956 at Chelan and she was the first lunchroom manager for the Chelan School District, beginning in 1948 with the new hot lunch program. She served over a million meals.

Mrs. Hinton was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and served as treasurer for 27 years. Seh was a 50-year member of Silver Star Chapter 93, Order of Easter Star. She and her husband were worthy matron and worth patron in 1962 and 1963.

Survivors include a sister, Henrietta Churchill, Oak Harbor; two step-sons, Jerry Hinton, Olympia and Kenneth Hinton, Spokane; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974; and seven brothers and sisters.
