In a number of references to her name in these records she is referred to as "Eva", "Anna", "Polly", and "Maria" which this compiler feels are all variations of her full baptismal name of Anna Maria. She and Johannes's approx. wedding year is based on the birth of their first born, Johannes, which occurred in 1806. She is referred to as "Polly" in the Commemorative Biographical Encyclopedia of Dauphin county, PA., 1896, page 871. In reference to a short bio. on her grandson David Hoffman, the article noted that she died at the age of 78."
