These records also note the burial records of Johannes, along with his 1st wife Anna, and 2nd. wife Eva, and their only son Joseph, who died less than a year old. John was 84 years, O months, and 28 days old at time of death. They are all buried in Fetterhoff's. John appears in the 1870 US PA census residing in Halifax Township, Dauphin county. He lists his occupation as "farmer", and his age as 64, which would coincide with his baptismal records found at Fetterhoff's. His wife Mary, also aged 64, resides with him. John is also listed in the 1880 US PA census records for the same area. A Mary Benter, age 54, is now his housekeeper."
