According to Findagrave contributor Deborah (Hoffman) Weiner:
"Johannes's birth and baptism records are unknown at the time, but believed to be found somewhere in and around Hempfield Twp., Lancaster county, PA. His confirmation date of Whitsunday, 1791, by Rev. John Michael Enderlein is noted in the records found at Fetterhoff's. In these records he is listed as being a son of Jost (Miller). Johannes and his wife Anna Maria were members of Fetterhoff's Evangelical Lutheran and German Reformed Church, and all of Johannes's children were baptized at Fetterhoff's. Johannes is named as the father for all 13 of his children. However, beginning with David Miller's birth in 1817, Johannes's wife name is noted as "Eva". Eva is the name listed as the mother for the next 6 of Johannes' children. The Biographical Encyclopedia of Dauphin County, Pa. (1896), page 871 notes that Johannes lived to be 87 years of age."
