"According to the Register of Pennsylvania Volunteers from the Pennsylvania Archives, the Daniel Miller who served in the 210th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company I, as a Private, enrolled at Harrisburg, 23 September 1864 and was mustered into service on 24 September 1864 at Camp Curtin. He was 29 years old at the time of enrollment, which would make his birth year about 1835. On page 2 of that record, he was discharged at Alexandria, Virginia, on 30 May 1865 – reason given, 'mustered out with company.'
Also, that same person never applied for a pension for himself, but a widow applied on 23 October 1916. The death date of that Daniel Miller is given on the Fold3 version of the Pension Index Card as 18 February 1875. This would seem to be fairly conclusive proof that the Daniel Miller who is buried at Fetterhoff’s is not the same Daniel Miller who served in the 210th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company I."
This doesn't necessarily mean that this Daniel Miller didn't serve in the Civil War, but at this time I have no documention for his service.
