Lester Raymond "Les" Kress passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 84, in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Where Les and his third wife of 44 years, Pat (Anderson) Kress have made their home for several years.
Les was born on July 13, 1937 in rural Sterling, Johnson County, Nebraska. He was the son of Henry Raymond Kress and Loretta Florence Lillian Agena. In 1955 Les graduated from Sterling High School in Sterling, Nebraska. On February 11, 1958 he was inducted into the U.S. Air Force. Les retired from his career in the Air Force on March 1, 1976.
Les married his second wife, Wilma Davis, on April 22, 1962. Les and Wilma had two children, a son and a daughter; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Don, Harv, Kenneth, Virgil Kress; sisters; Judy Kress Hintz, Linda Kress, Joyce Kress Hindmand.
He is survived by his two children and three grandchildren; brothers; Marv, Walt and John Kress; one sister Norma Kress Chesnut.
There will be no funeral services and his ashes will reside at his home with his wife Pat.
