HYRUM - Eulalia Yeates Olsen, 78, died Wednesday in the Valley View Nursing home following a stroke.
She was born November 7, 1897 in Millville, to Frederick Thomas and Annie Jessop Yeates. She married Joseph Olsen June 16, 1920 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Active in the LDS Church, Mrs. Olsen was a member of the Sego Lily Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, a member of the Relief Society and of the ward choir. At the time of her death she was affiliated with Hyrum 4th Ward.
Survivors include her husband of Hyrum; one son and five daughters: J. Clyde of Layton, Mrs. Frank (Carol) Skrepcinski and Mrs. Gayle Noel, both of Ogden; Mrs. Jack (Yvonne) Gunderson, Rawlins, Wyoming; Mrs. Robert (Karen Ann) Roberts, Deer Park, Texas, and Mrs. Gary (Sue) Jensen, Reston, Virginia; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Nina Olson and Elva Haroldson, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Lehi (Marvil) Clawson, Hyrum, and Mrs. Reba Bignall, Heber City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Hall Mortuary Chapel in Logan. Interment will be in Hyrum City Cemetery.
