LOWELL "RED" SCOTT PHEANIS, age 83, of Eaton, Ohio died Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at his home. Born on March 30, 1920 in Camden, Ohio, he was the son of the late Issac M. and Alma (Henemyer) Pheanis. He was a 1938 graduate of West Alexandria, Ohio, High School. He was a WWII US Air Force Veteran and was retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by Brother: Donald and Sister: Helen Hannish.

Survived by his Wife of 59 years: Eveline (Showalter) and their children: Robert Pheanis of Eaton, Ohio, Peggy Deeter and Stephanie Riffle both of Greenville, Ohio, Susan Kristoff of West Carrolton, Ohio and Linda O'Grady of Orlando, Florida; Sister: Joan Rickard of Eaton, Ohio; Brothers: Kenneth of Mesa, Arizona, Robert and Franklin both of Kentucky, John and Paul both of Oxford, Ohio; Grandchildren: Steven, Lori, Matthew, Meagan and Joshua and Great Grandchildren: Jonathon, Sarah, Timothy, James and Katie.

A Private Graveside Memorial has been planned by the family at Mound Hill Union Cemetery.
