Her heart held a special place for the well-being of hospitalized children and newborns, whom she nurtured with immense love and expertise.

Peggy's love for animals extended to all creatures, but her Schnauzer pups held a special place in her heart.

Peggy leaves behind a legacy of love and admiration, cherished by her mother, Eveline Pheanis of Eaton, Ohio; her brother, Robert Pheanis of Eaton, Ohio; her sister, Stephanie Riffle of Greenville, Ohio; her sister, Linda (Daniel) O'Grady of Orlando, Florida; and her nephew, Joshua Kristoff of San Rafael, California, as well many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Pheanis of Eaton Ohio; her sister Susan Kristoff of West Palm Beach, Florida; and her sister-in-law Janet Pheanis of Eaton, Ohio.
