Kenneth H. Pheanis, 94, Formerly of Fountain City, IN and Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, May 14, 2016, following a lengthy illness. Born December 12, 1921 in Preble County, OH, he was one of nine children born to Isaac & Alma (Henemeyer) Pheanis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by beautiful wife Lucy Mae (Young) Pheanis on July 4, 2012: brothers Don, Lowell and Paul Pheanis: and sister Millie Hanish.

Survived By Children Janelle Gibbins of Medway, OH; Kenneth Lee Pheanis of Klamath Falls, Oregon; and Lucy Manley of Eaton: grandchildren Leanna Manuel of Brookville, OH; Michael and Mark Gibbins of Medway; and Suzanne Johnson of New Carlisle, OH: and many great grandchildren: brothers Bob, John and Frank Pheanis and sister Joanne Rickard.

Mr. Pheanis served honorably with the US Army during WW II and was one of "The Greatest Generation". He was a wonderful father and provider who was a good man, much loved and will be greatly missed.

At this time, no services are planned. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center, West Alexandria.
