SANDLIN, Daniel age 81 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Bethesda North Hospital with his family by his side. Born July 15, 1926 in Clay County, Kentucky, he was the son of George and Ida (Sims) Sandlin and was a retired boiler maker from the Babcock & Wilcox Company in Cincinnati, Ohio and a member of the New Freedom Church in Lebanon, ohio.. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers - Lee, Albert, Matthew and David and sister - Margie; he is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Faulkner) Sandlin of Oregonia, Ohio; sons Greg (Michelle) Sandlin of Waynesville and Wayne (Sandra) Sandlin of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters - Vickie (Ernie) Brown of South Lebanon, Ohio and Carolyn (Roger) Purdue of Morrow, Ohio; brothers Ted Sandlin of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, Billy Sandlin of Walton, Kentucky and Farris Sandlin of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; sisters - Martha Callahan of Harrison, Ohio and Lillie Brown of Williamstown, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and many other family members and close friends. Friends may call on the family Sunday evening, August 5, 2007 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11:00am at the New Freedom Church located at 1054 Monroe Road, Lebanon, Ohio.
