My best hypothesis is that she is buried in one of the many unmarked, subsided graves in the Thacker Cemetery. There are scads of unmarked graves, and several marked only with fieldstones. The cemetery is on property formerly owned by Charles Colman "Ol' Man" Czompo, Memorial ID 67781265, and Elizabeth Hines Czompo, who taught maths at Marshall University, Huntington, WV, until 1976. Mr. Czompo was very strict about cemetery access, but I remember very, very few tombstones, and mostly subsidation marks where unmarked graves had "dipped" from age. There were a few fieldstones here and there. I remember being amazed, because I knew that some of the Thackers and Rutherfords were Episcopalian Christians, and I thought they had purchased gravestones.
