Lee Haley Dies Tuesday Morning After Long Illness
Lee Haley, 61, of 3215 Exposition Ave., a resident here for 25 years and a plumber, died in a local hospital at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday following a long illness. Mr. Haley had been connected with the Kirk and Campbell Plumbing Co. He was a native of Hot Springs, Ark., and was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion and of the Plumbers Local No. 141, He was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, James Haley of Hot Springs and Robert Haley of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, J. K. Haley of Shreveport, three grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Osborn Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Scherer officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery. The body will remain at Osborn's Chapel until hour of service. Active pallbearers will be Roy Simpson, Leon Thornton, Charles Campbell, Havard Kirk, L. E. Mayfield, and G. B. Holomon.
