Erma Dean Simon, 60, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996, at Meadowbrook Manor in Bunnell following a long illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka. She was the manager of the Town and Country Laundry May and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Gail Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Steve P. Simon of Bardin; sons, Steven Dale Simon of Brunswick, Gs., and Paul Arthur Simon of Bardin; daughters, Cynthia Dean Sikes of Palatka and Sylvia Jean O'Connor of Ocala; brothers, Willie Maynard of Bardin, James Maynard of Hollister and Roger Maynard of East Palatka; sisters, Virginia Stewart of Palatka and Jo Anna Maynard of Bardin; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin, with Rev. Melvin register officiating.
