Mack Vergie Fullmer, the thirteenth born of seventeen children, was born Thursday, April 22, 1915 in Wallsburg, Utah to William Price Fullmer Jr. and Fannie Verona Whiting.


He married Lavern Dowdle on February 21, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple.


He farmed in Idaho until 1976 when he moved to Utah and gardening became his life. He was a scoutmaster for 14 years and was awarded the Silver Beaver.


Mack and Lavern served two missions, one in Virginia and another in Guatemala. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.


Mack passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2002 at his home. He resided at 6166 West Brook Hollow Drive (3650 South) in the Hunter area of West Valley City, Utah at the time of his death.


A viewing was held on Sunday, April 21, 2002 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West) in Taylorsville. Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 22, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hunter Central Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 3930 South 6000 West in West Valley City. A viewing was held one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 in the Cedar Butte Cemetery in Annis, Idaho, where he was laid to rest.
