Bessie Pauley

Bessie C. Pauley, 93, Parkview Manor Nursing Home, Pikeville, Ky., formerly of Sidney, Ky., died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, in Parkview Manor Nursing Home.

Bom June 18, 1906, in Pike County,. Ky., she was a daughter of the late J.H. and Martha Hankins Crigger.

She was also preceded in death by: husband, Willie Pauley; son, Hi Pauley; sisters, Hazel Smith, Gladys Williamson, Opal Blackburn and brother, Cecil Crigger.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors: son, Robert (Lucille) Pauley Sr., Hardy, Ky.; sisters, Inis Brown and Edith Williamson, both of Sidney, Marie Allen, Monaville; brother, Earl Crigger, Sidney; grandchildren, Robert Pauley Jr., Atlanta, Ga., Regina K. Evans, Fayetteville, Ga.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2000, at Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Ky., with Ministers Gary Blackburn and Rick Gannon officiating.

Burial: Pauley Cemetery, Thomas May Hollow, Sidney.

Pallbearers: nephews.

Visitation: after 6 p.m. tonight and Thursday at the funeral home.
